The Partnership of James Cooke & Dennis Marshall was founded in 1980. Both having a strong background in engineering, they formed their first private limited company in 1981 trading under the banner of Marshall Cooke Ltd and specialising in the manufacture of skips and containers for the waste disposal industry. Since those early days the Company has gone from strength to strength and is now well known throughout the waste disposal industry for providing quality service and products to an extensive and ever increasing customer base throughout the United Kingdom. Products sold range from small mini skips through to large rolon-

roloff compaction containers which are all manufactured at the company's premises in Thetford, Norfolk.

Demand from customers to manufacture and rent waste compactors became so high in the early 1990s that a new company, Compactor Rentals Ltd was formed purely to specialise in the hire, repair and maintenance of portable and static waste compactors installed at hotels, hospitals, factories and shopping malls. This company is now extremely successful in its own right and continues to expand year on year.

James Cooke also owns and manages his own 74 acre complex of fishing lakes at Snetterton in Norfolk. The lakes are well known to course fishermen and are one of the finest fisheries in the country, stocked with large Carp, Bream, Tench and a variety of other species.

Throughout their partnership, Dennis Marshall and James Cooke have always taken an active interest in

motor sport, regularly participating themselves in Stage Rallying at Club level in their own engineered rally car. Natural progression and success has led to management, fund raising and promotion of talented young racing drivers.
